IT'S NOT PINK SATURDAY

Apologies to everyone if you've come to visit - I'm not doing Pink Saturday this week.

I over-reached (literally) and have wrenched my back, so am just not up to blog hopping right this minute (in the throes of redcorating the flat, and I only had 5 doors to 2nd coat, as well). I must say I am pretty cross with myself - I should have been more careful.

    Hi Susie,

Oh, don't I know about wrenching the back! Sometimes it just takes the slightest movement [the wrong way] and your out of commission.

I do feel your misery and frustration...Thomas thinks he's been reborn as a painter and a carpenter..LOL Since that seems to be most of what he's doing the past few weeks. We are just bound and determined to get this house put together and be done with it!!

Then we get to address the outside!! Oh, joy!!! Nothing that can't wait though...I don't have any shutters on the windows and we want to make some primitive style and distress to go along with our mountain-y atmosphere.

You take care of your back and feel better real soon...

Oh, and PiNk Faerie Dust rocks!! I think it looks super floating over everything. Thanks again!

    Hugs,
    Stephanie ♥

  2. Oh my gosh, Susie!.. I WISH I could come over there right NOW to help you in any way I could! Don't worry about those doors.. Just take care of YOU!.. Just got back from grocery shopping with Dear Daughter (We always shop at our Super Walmart, for one-stop shopping).. and they had Twilight T-shirts on sale for ONE DOLLAR!! Can you guess what I'll be wearing TOMORROW?!! Dear Daughter is busy for the rest of today, but I'm making homemade pizzas to watch the New Moon movie with her tomorrow, so that will be fun!.. Now, don't be TOO cross with yourself about ANYTHING.. SMILE!.. Hope you can enjoy your weekend at least a little! ((hugs)) ~tina

Not sure about wise & witty..but I am sure sorry you hurt you back...don't we hate it even more... when it is caused by our OWN carelessness.
I find that ICE is the best thing for that kind of pain.
I too am still nursing a knee problem...that I created by walking really hard into an immovable object. (That was almsot 3 weeks ago.)

Take care of yourself..and get better.

Oh, Susie, I'm so very sorry. Take lots of long hot soaks in the tub and perhaps that will help!

OMG! Wrenching your back is sooo painful! Do hope you take care and give it the rest it needs to heal.

I fell a couple weeks agao...painting too, missed the last step and landed on my tailbone and back. Back is fine now, but it sure takes a long time for that darn tailbone to heal...6 weeks my Dr says. Tired of sitting on one cheek!! LOL

No worries about the response. Your most welcoime for the Award.

Sending warm hugs for your back, take care and hope your on your feet again soon.
    *hugs*deb
