I'm very happy to say I'm in this issue - in the Ideas Gallery. This month, the theme was Matchboxes - and I used one of those giant boxes of household matches to make a little Keepsake Box.

I'm using my own Paris plate (designed for Blade Rubber Stamps).

Staz-On ink is great for stamping onto metal - just allow it to dry for around 5 minutes or so, to prevent smudging.

I think the pearls work, don't you? Maybe I should have made her a necklace!
All of these are pretty. Yours looks antique, very nice. I hope my friend Rosie will be able to send me a copy of craft stamper this month. I think this one will have lotsto interest me in it.
ReplyDeleteLove it Susie, have not read mine properly yet but will go have a better look
ReplyDeleteCongrats Susie!
ReplyDeleteA couple of years ago I did a matchbox, thinking I might do a few more.......the ONE that I did sits on my desk. I guess my fingers and eyes really need something larger that whatever this tiny size is!
Love the metal on yours!

Thank you all so much for the kind remarks. I kind of hesitate to put up published stuff, in case people think I'm bragging...
ReplyDeleteI'll shove up a couple more in that case. Also, where I've done a long article in an old publication, you'll find them on my Techniques blog (link under the header) if anyone is interested.
