MY FIRST RELIGIOUS TEMED BLOGGER MAKEOVER

I've not been able to post for a few weeks, due to an unco-operative and not-very-well computer - so I'm thrilled to be able to show you some new artwork.

This week has been a wonderful experience - my first commissioned religious theme blog makeover: a set of three separate blogs, all interlinking, to act like a website. I was given totally free reign and based my theme on Mediaeval artwork - to my mind, the best examples of their kind. Each painting was not only a religious experience on the part of the artist, but also the embodiment of their own personal beliefs. And truly beautiful.

It's been a lot of work, putting in all the bells & whistles: post dividers, signatures, Older, Newer and Home buttons, numbered comments - all that stuff - but SO worth it.

I am quietly very pleased, and do hope you like it too! I am very happy to say, the client was thrilled.

    Happy Pink Saturday Susie Sweetie...
Oh my gosh, did you ever do an awesome job. I can't even imagine the code involved in this one. It is so beautiful. Love the artwork you chose, and as an artist, isn't it wonderful when you are given card blanche and can run with it?

I love the idea that it is 3 separate blogs, but all inter mingled. How wonderful. You did an awesome job sweet girl, and I love the graphics. You have such talents. Thank you so much for sharing with me tonight at 1st Floor Flat. I so enjoyed strolling along with you.

So thrilled that your computer errors are getting themselves fixed and you are back among us Pinkies. Isn't the same without you.

Have a beautiful weekend sweet friend. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

  23. Wow! This is wonderful, Susie! I love the art of the Middle Ages with all of its gold and halos, etc. and I totally get what you are saying about the art and the artist. In my homeschooling years, I have taught that time period for high school 3 different times, and I always come away just amazed at the art of the period leading up to the Renaissance. Simpler, yet profound in its own way! Glad to see you back!
    Happy Belated Pink Sat.
    Blessings,
    Tricia
