Just finished this journal spread, just in time for Pink Saturday. Phew!
This one, I roughly drew what I wanted in pencil on scrap paper, then cut the dress out freehand from scrapbooking paper. THEN I drew in the arms, legs and head with acrylic paint and a fine paintbrush... then really got to work.
The Broderie Anglais at the hem and page edges is real, and I've drawn and painted practically everything on the page. The pink house stamp bordering the side edges is by Lynne Perella, the Washi tape is 7Gypsies (I think, not sure) and the little houses at the bottom are an On The Edge die by Tim Holtz.
Much fun!
I have never gotten into this project. I love seeing what others design. You did a great job.
ReplyDeleteIt took me quite a while to 'get it' and dip my toe in... now I'm hooked!
