The board itself is a cheese board in MDF.
I've gesso-ed this to prep it, and give a nice neutral background before decorating.
Next, I used portions of the Decoupage Key rice paper sheet, and glued this down with Decoupage Plus, adding the glue on the board first, then the rice paper. I smoothed this down, then added a second coat of the glue on top to secure it and protect it.
Net, more rice paper: the girl and the stamp from rice paper sheet #407. The easiest way is to 'draw' round the image with a damp paintbrush, so the rice paper tears easily. Then, once stuck down with the decoupage glue, the edges become virtually invisible!
I stencilled the script portion of the feather stencil using Structure Paste, which is my most vavourite stencil paste ever.
The hooks were from my local DIY store, and the padlock and keys were from the Magi Kutz set. I painted all of these with Rusty Patinas, to make them look really old, worn and - of course - rusty/
All supplies (apart from the hooks) are by Imagination Crafts.
